The sauna is a warm, sacred space. The Finns say you should behave in the sauna as you would in church - with respect for yourself, other, and the fire. These guidelines exist to keep everyone safe and the experience enjoyable for all.
Sauna Guidelines
SAFETY FIRST
Maximum Occupancy: 8
Anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure, or other medical concerns should consult their doctor before using the sauna
No Alcohol or illegal substances before or during sauna use
No drinking/consumption of illegal and non-prescribed drugs
Listen to your body - if you feel dizzy or unwell, step outside and cool down immediately
No disposable plastic bottles
INSIDE THE SAUNA
No shoes - bare feet or clean sandals only
No drinks inside except water in a hard, insulated bottle - no disposable plastic
No smoking or vaping of any kind
After a cold shower or plunge, sit on a towel when returning to the sauna
Wipe up any excess water with a towel to keep the floor safe
FOR RENTERS
Do not burn anything in the wood stove other than the wood provided
Remove all lighter from the sauna once the fire is started
When finished: close the firebox air lever (down position), and lock the trailer when not in use
Zack will walk you through everything at drop-off. No experience needed
WAIVERS
All users are required to sign a Release and Liability Waiver before their first session. For rentals, Zack will bring waivers at drop-off. For hosted sessions, waivers can be completed at the time of booking.
